California Junior Scholarship Federation

 

The purpose of CJSF is to foster high standards of scholarship, service and citizenship on the part of California students.

 

To learn more about this program, please plan to attend the Zoom Meeting on
Monday, March 1st from 12:30 pm - 1:15 pm.  

 

In order to participate in CJSF the below guidelines must be met:

  • You must have a minimum of 8 points in four academic classes for each trimester you are submitting for application. Points are calculated by A=3; B=1; C=0.

  • No D’s or F’s in any core classes (ELA, Social Studies, Math and Science).

  • No N’s or U’s in citizenship.

Application:

  • Completed applications must be submitted with an official report card and the $3.00 membership donation.To access the application - CLICK HERE

Membership Donation:

  • Membership is $3.00 for each trimester you participate.  You may pay via EZ School Pay or in the Summit office.  Please make checks payable to Summit Intermediate. 


Community Service:

  • Students must also complete Community Service Hours. 8th graders are required to complete five (5) hours per trimester. 7th graders are required to complete five (5) during the entire year.  (This requirement will be waived for the 2020/21 school year due to COVID-19)


As this is a state program, we will not be able to accept any late applications.
