Meetings are open to students & families. Meeting nicknames are posted to Google Classroom daily. I look forward to seeing each of your precious faces at our meetings!

Please Be Aware:
The Etiwanda School District provides virtual classroom lessons through the distance learning plan. Please note that during virtual sessions there is no expectation of privacy. Students and anything in their background will be in view of the class. Those who prefer not to have their image shown may elect to turn off the video camera during the virtual session.

Final Assignment
Letter to Your Future Self

Instructions:
Reflect on your middle school experience. What went well? What challenges did you have to overcome? What are you proud of? What did you accomplish? How did you grow as a student? How did you grow as an individual? What goals do you have for yourself?

Now fast forward 4 years to your high school graduation. What advice would you give yourself? What will you have hoped to accomplish by then? What goals will you want to work towards after high school?

With all these thoughts in mind, write a letter to your future self. Feel free to be as creative as you want. You may write your letter by hand. If you'd prefer to type your letter, please make sure to print it. Give your completed letter to an adult in your home for safekeeping. Ask them to hold onto it for you for the next four years. Then, on the day of your high school graduation, ask them to present you with your letter.

Additional Note: For assignment accommodations, please visit Mrs. Freeman's teacher webpage. Feel free to contact either of us with questions. We are eager to support you in any way we can!
