Monday, May 18, 2020

1. Create a colorful cover sheet for your Covid-19 time capsule. It can have a title such as “My Covid-19 Time Capsule.” Include your name and the date. Create your items for your time capsule and include any of the following you would like to: a journal entry of what your days are like, a special memory from this time period, pictures of your family and/or pets, newspaper or magazine clippings, any artwork you have recently made. You can also include small items for this portion of your time capsule.

2. Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes

1. Create the next section of “All About Me” items for your time capsule and include any of the following you would like to on the next pages: your full name and any special meanings it has, your age and birthday, your height and weight, your shoe size, your favorites (color, movie, animal, game, show, book, activity, place, song, person, food, item, etc.), your best friends, what you want to be when you grow up. You can also include pictures or small items for this portion of your time capsule.

2. Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes

You can also include pictures or small items for this portion of your time capsule.

2. Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes

1. Create the final section of items related to you and your family for your time capsule and include any of the following you would like to on the next pages: hand prints of your family members, special occasions you celebrated during the pandemic and how you celebrated, a letter to yourself to read in the future, a letter to you from a family member, an interview with a family member. Interview questions you might ask are: What has been the biggest change during this time? How are you finding homeschooling? How many days have you spent inside? What are your top three moments of this experience? What activities and hobbies have you most enjoyed doing? What are you most thankful for? What are your goals after this? What foods and shows have you enjoyed? You can also include pictures or small items for this portion of your time capsule. Find a container to place all of your time capsule items in and label it on the outside with an appropriate title and the date. Store it in a safe place for the future.

2. Read a book of your choice for 20 minutes
