California Junior Scholarship Federation

 

The purpose of CJSF is to foster high standards of scholarship, service and citizenship on the part of California students.

 

 

 

In order to participate in CJSF the below guidelines must be met:

  • You must have a minimum of 8 points in four academic classes for each trimester you are submitting for application. Points are calculated by A=3; B=1; C=0.

  • No D’s or F’s in any core classes (ELA, Social Studies, Math and Science).

  • No N’s or U’s in citizenship.

Membership Donation:
 

  • Member cost is $3.00 for each trimester you participate.


Application:

  • Completed applications must be submitted with an official report card and the $3.00 membership donation.To access the application CLICK HERE


Community Service Form:

  • Student must also complete Community Service Hours.  8th graders are required to complete five (5) hours per trimester.  7th graders are required to complete five (5) for the entire year.

Note:

  • Students who join for a minimum of two trimesters in 7th grade and two trimesters in 8th grade (Fall and Winter) will receive special recognition at promotion.

As this is a state program, we will not be able to accept any late applications.
